Who will be included in the Sanatan board?
The proposed draft of the Sanatan Board states that a Central Sanatan Board will be formed at the national level under the supervision of the four Jagadguru Shankaracharyas. The Sanatan Board will work as an independent unit. It has been proposed to include 11 members in the Central Chairman Board of this board. In which it has been proposed to include the chief Jagadguru of all the four sects, three prominent personalities of Sanatani Akharas, a person nominated by the Patron Board and a prominent saint, storyteller or religious leader among the three other members.
Similarly, there is a plan to include a supporting board and advisory board for the operation of the Sanatan Board. In the role of the supporting board, it has been suggested to include representatives of organizations working for Hindus, persons associated with major temples, cow shelters, persons associated with the Gurukul education system and many others in the board. Similarly, the advisory board will include retired Sanatani judges and lawyers, retired administrative officers from high positions, media and senior educationists, and Sanatani persons associated with social and religious work.
Board will also control distribution of Prasad
After the formation of Sanatan Board, only Hindus will be allowed to work in the temple administration. It has been told that by doing this, Hindu culture and Sanatan traditions will be protected. To prevent an incident like tirupati balaji temple from happening again, the temple entry rules and prasad management will also be monitored by the board.
