Sanatan dharma Sansad-Special committee will take care!

In the meeting of Sanatan dharma Sansad, a special plan has been prepared for its operation at the center and state level. Under this, with the consent of the Board of Patrons, the Chairman Board will form a state level committee of the Sanatan Board in different states of the country. Apart from this, a special committee will be formed, which will oversee the management, allocation and distribution of the funds of the temples. For this, the funds will be managed through an escrow account. This fund will be used for the operation of Gurukuls, Gaushalas, small temples, hospitals in big temples and financial assistance to financially weak Sanatani families.

Similarly, under the Board Act, it was advised to nominate the patrons and members of the Central Sanatan Board as public servants, so that their accountability can be ensured. The Sanatan Board will appoint priests in all major temples, for which traditional qualifications and knowledge of religious knowledge will be the main criteria.

Will illegal Waqf properties be freed?

Apart from this, under the Sanatan Act, the district Magistrate will have full authority to immediately remove illegal occupation of temple properties. The Sanatan Board will maintain an official registered register of all temple properties. Without the permission of the Board, the properties of temples cannot be sold or transferred through lease or in any other way. If the Board finds sufficient evidence or historical basis against any property, it can declare it as temple property. It has been said in this proposal that the Sanatan Board Tribunal will make effective efforts at all levels to free the lands forcibly occupied by the Waqf Board and to end unconstitutional rights.

Board rules will not apply to these temples

The most important thing about this Act is that only those temples will be included in the jurisdiction of the Sanatan Board which are currently under the control of the government. Whereas the rules of the Sanatan Board will not apply to those temples or religious institutions which are privately run or are not under the control of the government. However, private temples or Gaushalas or other institutions will have the option to voluntarily apply and come under the Sanatan Board.
