Maha Kumbh 2025: Holiday declared in allahabad High Court!
A huge number of devotees are gathering in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. The yogi government has expressed hope of ten crore devotees coming on Mauni Amavasya, in view of which a holiday has also been declared in the Prayagraj bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal CAT, while a holiday has been declared on 28 and 30 january in the principal bench of allahabad high court in Prayagraj.
This decision has been taken due to the heavy crowd coming on Mauni Amavasya in Mahakumbh. The principal bench of allahabad high court in Prayagraj will remain closed on 28 and 30 January. In lieu of this, the high court will remain open on saturday 17 May and saturday 23 August. General Registrar Rajiv Bharti has issued a notification to this effect.
Holiday in high court in view of the crowd
The high court Bar Association had demanded a holiday from the Chief Justice. This demand was made due to the immense crowd of Prayagraj Mahakumbh and traffic being restricted. Although the high court was open on Monday, there was also a proposal for a no adverse order due to traffic problems.
In view of the crowd on Mauni Amavasya, a holiday has also been declared in the Prayagraj bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal CAT. Giving this information, CAT Bar Association General Secretary Jitendra nayak said that the Deputy Registrar of the Principal Bench Kanchan Sharma has issued a notification in this regard. Under which there will be a holiday in the bench from 28 to 30 January. In lieu of these holidays, 5 april, 26 april and 3 May will be working days.
The UP government has expressed the hope of more than ten crore devotees coming on Mauni Amavasya, in view of which preparations are being made on a war footing by the fair administration and the state government. Many roads have been closed, while the entire fair area has also been declared a no vehicle zone. During this time, the passes of vehicles have also been made ineffective. In view of the crowd, all schools up to class 12 in the city area have also been closed from 28 to 30 January.
