Administration ready for bathing on Basant Panchami!

The fair administration has completed all the preparations for the Basant Panchami bath. The administration is fully prepared on the instructions of chief minister Yogi Adityanath. For the convenience of the devotees, information about the routes to and from the fair area has been shared, so that no one faces any problem. On Saturday, chief minister Yogi Adityanath himself reached the fair area and gave necessary instructions to the officials. He said that full care should be taken of the safety and facilities of the devotees. Under this, the administration has released the routes of traffic and bridges. The routes of the bridges issued by the administration will make it easier for the devotees to reach the ghat.

For the convenience of the devotees, the administration has decided to open different bridges.

Bridge number 28 will remain open to go from Arail to Jhunsi.

To go from Sangam to Jhunsi, devotees can use bridge number 2, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 23 and 25.

Bridge number 16, 18, 21 and 24 will be available to go from Jhunsi to Sangam.

Bridge number 27 and 29 will remain open to go from Jhunsi to Arail.

The administration has appealed to the devotees to use only the designated routes, so that the traffic continues smoothly and no one faces any problem. Taking everyone's opinion about the incident of Mauni Amavasya, the administration has determined the routes to come and go to the ghat. Along with this, additional police forces have been deployed to control the crowd.

Importance of Basant Panchami Bath

The festival of Basant Panchami is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning and knowledge. Taking bath in the ganges on this day has special significance. The bath of Basant Panchami at Sangam in Prayagraj is considered to be the biggest religious event. This is one of the main baths of the Magh Mela. Every year on Basant Panchami, lakhs of devotees come to bathe in the Sangam. This time too, keeping in mind the possibility of a huge crowd, the administration has made special arrangements for police, water police, divers and health services.
