Tirupati temple body removes 18 workforce contributors For practicing 'Non-Hindu Traditions'
The tirumala tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has taken action towards 18 employees for breaching its rule requiring team of workers to uphold Hindu traditions, suggested india nowadays.
The ttd board, chaired by BR Naidu, had previously affirmed that only Hindu employees should serve at TTD.
But, these 18 people were determined to be training non-Hindu traditions, prompting disciplinary measures.
Consistent with the ttd Board's resolution, those personnel will be removed from their current roles inside ttd temples and affiliated departments. They may be additionally prohibited from participating in any Hindu non secular activities or duties.
The affected personnel had been given two options: they'll either transfer to government departments or follow for the Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS). Failure to comply will lead to similarly results.
