Chief minister Dhami said that Mahakumbh is a symbol of the vastness and harmony of Sanatan culture. He said that the land of uttarakhand has always been the karmabhoomi of saints and spiritual gurus. He also said that his government is committed to ensuring equality and justice in the society while maintaining the values of Sanatan culture. chief minister Dhami said that he is confident that in the times to come, other states will also adopt the Uniform Civil Code. He said that "Just as the ganges flows out of uttarakhand and gives life to the whole country, in the same way this ganga of Uniform Civil Code will also flow out of uttarakhand and across India."
He called upon the saints to cooperate in increasing the awareness of UCC in the society and telling people about its benefits. chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was given a grand welcome in this "Samarata Ke Saath Samrasata" program of Mahakumbh. The saints praised him for implementing UCC in uttarakhand and called it a historic step towards the social harmony of India. On this occasion, the chief minister emphasized the benefits of UCC, women's safety and national unity and said that this code will play an important role in uniting india and ensuring social justice.
