Due To maha Kumbh, The Rates Of Dhabas Have Doubled!

The pilgrims going to bathe in the maha Kumbh of Prayagraj are reaching there facing many difficulties. Not only the problem of traffic and jam, the difficulties of the devotees are starting from hundreds of kilometers away. The economic exploitation of the people going to maha Kumbh starts 400 kilometers in advance. The pilgrims going from Rajasthan, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh are getting food so expensive that their condition is getting worse.

The dhaba operators on the way to maha Kumbh have increased the prices of food, due to which the pilgrims are being exploited financially. The pilgrims who went to bathe in maha Kumbh Prayagraj from firozabad told their experiences after returning from maha Kumbh. Talking to ABP News, the pilgrims said that as soon as they cross the border of Etawah district, the dhabas and hotels built from Auraiya to Prayagraj have started looting in the name of food.

The price of dal and roti has skyrocketed. Passengers said that earlier the price of serving two rotis, some rice and some dal in a fibre plate at dhabas used to be between 90-100 rupees but now the same plate is available between 200 to 250 rupees. The price of roti has increased so much that a roti is now available for 40-50 rupees instead of 10 rupees.

Manish Kumar, a passenger who returned from maha Kumbh, said that he had gone to Prayagraj with his family and he had food at a dhaba near Kanpur. The bill for eating with four family members was more than 2000. The price of tea is being charged from 20 to 40 rupees instead of 10. Another passenger rahul also had a similar experience. He had gone to Prayagraj with his friends. As soon as he left Auraiya, he ate at a dhaba. Here, instead of wheat flour, rotis were being served made of rice flour and the price of one roti was between 30 to 50 rupees.
