'I have faith in Allah...', said SP mp on not getting permission…
Samajwadi party mp Ziaur rahman Barq has reacted strongly to the decision based on the status report filed in the high court regarding painting of Shahi Jama Masjid of sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. He has raised questions on the working style of Archaeological survey of india (ASI). He has said that everyone knows very well on whose orders ASI works. SP mp Ziaur rahman Barq said, 'Painting of mosque is not a big deal. Repair and decoration of religious places is a part of routine process. Painting of mosque was being done on the occasion of Ramzan, but now it has been made a matter of controversy.'

He further said, "We respect the law and the judiciary. If necessary, we will appeal against the High Court's decision and can also go to the supreme Court. However, if a representative of the court was included in the committee formed by the high court, the report would have been balanced and fair."
The UP government has said in an affidavit given to the high court that the Jama Masjid of sambhal is built on government land. Expressing strong objection to this, Barq said, "This is a completely baseless and misleading claim. In Islam, only the land purchased for the mosque is valid. The government has no concrete evidence on this issue. Such statements are only misleading the public."

SP mp Ziaur rahman Barq said on the occasion of the death anniversary of his grandfather, former mp late Dr Shafiqur rahman Barq, "Today we have celebrated his first death anniversary. Today we and the people of sambhal are missing him a lot. If he were alive, the problems that the people of sambhal are facing would not have happened. We all are missing him a lot. He said that we have faith in Allah, the situation will change and everything will be fine."
