Protests have started in varanasi against the holi of Masan?

On march 11, the holi of pyre ashes has been organized at the Mahashamshan Ghat in Varanasi. The intellectuals of varanasi and Hindu organizations have raised their voices against this. Actually, they say that there is no mention of any such event in the scriptures. The land of the crematorium represents mourning and social knowledge, there should not be any kind of celebration there.

Especially the householder youth and girls going to such a place under such an event is an indicator of inauspiciousness and will definitely have to face serious consequences. A discussion was organized by Kashi Vidvat Parishad, vishwa Vedic Sanatan Nyas and other Hindu organizations. In which people were appealed not to participate in any such event.

A well-planned event is being called a tradition

National General Secretary professor Ramnarayan Dwivedi and Organization minister professor Vinay Pandey reached Assi Ghat on behalf of Kashi Vidvat Parishad. During the discussion, they said that there is no provision in the scriptures for a festival like holi of Masan. How can there be a festival at a place of mourning and knowledge? It has been specially promoted for the last 5-7 years, which is worrying. This stops the development of life. To say under the guise of this event that Aghoris, Sadhus, Saints play holi with pyre ashes at the ghat is also completely baseless. They play holi in their monastery ashram and there is a method for that too. Any such event which is against the scriptures cannot be justified.

At the place where the dead body of a father, son, wife or relative is lying, you will organize a festival there, sprinkle ashes on them, dance, make videos with mobile and are spreading confusion among the people by saying that this event is a tradition of Kashi. Hey! What can be a bigger mistake than this. This well planned event is being called a tradition. Remember that people come to Kashi to wash away their sins, but the sins committed in Kashi are not washed away. It is unfortunate that householders and young people have been seen participating in such events in large numbers in the past years. Whether it is for one day or three years, such an unruly act can certainly cause great harm to social life.
