The fraudsters had convinced people that this pot can change their fate and make them rich. The main accused in this strange fraud were Mukeem and Shoaib, who were running a business of cheating people from far-off places. Their fraud could not last long and Haridwar police foiled their plans
Mukeem and Shoaib used to promote their "magical pot" through social media to take advantage of people's weaknesses and their desires. They claimed that whoever wants this pot gets it - wealth, success and prosperity. To make this deception more effective, they would present the lota in different ways in the video and show that it is really magical.
To convince people, they would fabricate different stories and claim that the lives of those who used this lota changed. Their cunning was such that they would slowly gain the trust of their victims and then extort huge amounts of money from them. Mukeem and Shoaib would trap only those people in this web of fraud who were financially troubled due to some reason or the other and desired to become rich soon.
police arrested two fraudsters
Haridwar police had been hearing complaints of such fraud for a long time. police was constantly keeping an eye on this gang under the leadership of Captain Pramod Singh Dobal and SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal. During this time, the police got solid information that two youths in Roorkee area are involved in this game of fraud.
Courtney Roorkee police showed alertness and made a plan and raided to catch both the accused. In this police action, Mukeem and Shoaib were arrested. Fake and real aadhar cards, PAN cards, mobile phones and the 'magic pot' they were using to commit fraud were also recovered from them. During the police investigation, it was found that this lota was not a magical object, but just a simple brass lota. The fraudsters had used special techniques in the video to make it look magical. When the people trapped in this game of fraud came to know the truth, they started feeling cheated. In this case, a case has been registered against Mukeem son Ilyas, resident of Iqbalpur Kamelpur, Kotwali Ganganahar, Haridwar and Shoaib son Jamir, resident of Kishanpur Jamalpur, Thana Bhagwanpur, Haridwar and the police has started further investigation.
