Largest Hindu temple In california Vandalized; Profanities Goal PM Modi

The largest Hindu temple in california, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills, was vandalized on Saturday, with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) strongly condemning the incident.

Snapshots confirmed graffiti with profanities targeting PM Modi.

As information of the vandalism came to light, the MEA issued a statement condemning the vandalism, while the advocacy group Hindu American Foundation tagged authorities and referred to the FBI to "analyze this contemporary in a string of anti-Hindu hate crimes on our sacred areas."

BAPS, meanwhile, took to social media to put up a message calling for Hindu unity.

"In the face of every other Mandir desecration, this time in Chino Hills, CA, the Hindu network stands steadfast against hate," wrote BAPS in a submit on X.

"Together with the network in Chino Hills and Southern california, we will in no way permit hate to take root. Our commonplace humanity and religion will make sure that peace and compassion be successful," the company introduced.

BAPS, or Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, based in 1905, has over 1,300 Hindu temples worldwide. Of these, a few dozen are shikharbaddha mandirs (huge traditional stone temples), which

might be placed in the foremost towns round the arena, which include London, Chicago, Toronto, and Nairobi.

The one in Chino Hills near L.A., which faced vandalism on Saturday, turned into this sort of shikharbaddha mandir.  It was inaugurated in 2012.

'Khalistan referendum' hyperlinks alleged The Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA), along with any other advocacy group committed to enhancing the understanding of

Hinduism in North America, drew interest to past such instances and demanded radical research.

"Some other Hindu temple vandalized—this time the iconic BAPS temple in Chino Hills, CA. It's just every other day in a globe in which media and academics will insist there's no anti-Hindu hate and that #Hinduphobia is just a figment of our imagination," it said on X.

"Now not surprising this occurs because the day for a so-called 'Khalistan referendum' in l.a. attracts close," it said.

CoHNA gave a list of 10 temples that have been vandalized or burglarized within the previous couple of years.

In September, the BAPS Hindu temple in California's Sacramento became desecrated with expletive-encumbered graffiti, announcing, "Hindus cross returned!"

nearly 10 days earlier than the Sacramento incident, some other BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Melville, the Big Apple, was defaced with hateful messages.

The Consulate General of india in New York had strongly condemned the incident.
