Rome: World junior shooting champion, Cristian Ghilli, has been killed by an accidental gunshot wound.
Ghilli won 2 gold and 1 bronze at the junior World Championships in peru last year. It is ironic that a talented shooter goes hunting and has a tragic end.
The accident occurred when a 19-year-old Ghilli went hunting with friends in the woods in Pisa, Italy.
During the hunt, a rifle in his hand caught the trigger by accidentally pulling the cartridges down, causing the bullet to bulge. Ghilli was immediately hospitalized by friends. But it is known that he died of severe bleeding.
Luciano Rossi of the Italian Shooting Federation won the gold medal in the Men's Team and Mixed Team at the World junior Shooting championship last October.
He also won a bronze medal in the individual category. In May 2021, he won gold at the european Championships in croatia in the individual, team and mixed team categories.

Adelaide: India's Rohan Bopanna-Ramkumar Ramanathan have emerged champions at the adelaide International ATP Tournament. In the men's doubles final on Sunday, the pair beat Croatia's Ivan Dodig-Brazil's Marcelo Melo 7 -6 (6), 6-1.
This is Bopanna's 20th ATP doubles title and the first time ramkumar has won the award. The two are expected to compete in the Australian Open.
