Master Blaster sachin tendulkar will flag off the fifth edition of the much-awaited Aegis Federal Life Insurance mumbai Half Marathon at jio Gardens, Bandra Kula Complex here on Sunday. This race is returning after Corona. Sachin will also give prizes to the winners of the Half Marathon and 10K. Over 13,500 runners from all walks of life will take part in three different sections of the mumbai Half Marathon, which has become one of the country's prestigious road races. Of these, over 4,000 runners will compete in the 21km Challenge, while between 7,000 and 2,500 runners will compete in the 10K and 5K races.

The half marathon will start from jio Gardens BKC and will take two rounds of 10 km through the inner roads of the complex. Half Marathon (21K) will start at 5.15 am while 10K will start at 6.20 am and 5K will start at 8.00 am. Participants from various corporate teams will add to the excitement of the event which is entering its fifth edition. More than 2000 runners from the indian Navy will participate in the race.



The oldest runner in the half marathon is 82 years old while the female participants are 72 years old. The youngest runners on the grid are a seven-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy. Both will descend in the 5 km challenge. This year, Child Line 1098 is the official NGO partner. This is a national emergency service for children in need.


Mumbai Half Marathon organizer NEB sports has announced that permission and clearances have been granted for the resumption of various races across the country. NEB sports CMD Nagraj Adiga said, "We have made every effort to make this race safe and enjoyable for all runners. We wish everyone the very best for Sunday's race."
