Former indian cricket team captain mahendra singh dhoni celebrates his 42nd birthday today. dhoni, who retired from international cricket in august 2020, is currently playing for chennai Super Kings. dhoni is the only captain to win three ICC trophies for India. Under his leadership, they won the t20 world cup in 2007. The indian team then won the 2011 ODI world cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
Born in Ranchi, Jharkhand, dhoni became a role model for the indian team as a wicket keeper, batsman and successful captain. Fans call him the 'Cool Captain' because he takes decisions patiently without getting emotional in any difficult situation. He was the captain from 2007 to 2017.
It was under his leadership that the indian team topped the Test rankings in 2009. dhoni is the only captain who has won 3 trophies namely t20, 50 Over and Champions Trophy. He announced his retirement from international cricket on 15 august 2020.

Former indian cricket captain MS Dhoni's fans took out a motorcycle rally in Amberpet village near Nandi Kama in andhra pradesh to mark his 42nd birthday. Also, his fans erected a 77 feet tall statue of dhoni at the cost of Rs 65,000 in Nandi Kama village.
