India & pakistan are in the same group, do you know why..!?

In the t20 world cup schedule released, the ICC has made a plan to place india and pakistan in the same group. The ICC has announced that the 2024 t20 world cup series, hosted by the USA and West Indies, will be held from june 1 to june 29. india, England, Sri Lanka, Australia, Afghanistan, ireland, USA, Bangladesh, West Indies, nepal, New Zealand, netherlands, pakistan, Namibia, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, south africa Uganda, and canada are playing 20 teams. These 20 teams are divided into 4 divisions namely Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D and each division has 5 teams. The group stage matches will be held from 1st to 18th June. In this, the top 2 teams in each division will advance to the Super 8 round. This Super 8 round will be divided into 2 divisions and the matches will be held. The Super 8 round matches will be held from june 19 to june 24. The top 2 teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

The 1st and 2nd semi-finals will be held on june 26 and 27. The final will be held on june 29. The first match on june 1 pits the USA and canada in Group A. The tournament is held in Dallas. All 4 matches played by the indian team are held in the USA. The ICC has placed both india and pakistan in Group A to qualify for the Super 8 round. Apart from these 2 teams, 3 teams namely ireland, USA, and canada have been placed as Kathikutty teams. Hence, the schedule is set so that both india and pakistan appear in any of the 4 matches to be played in the top 2 and advance to the Super 8 round.
Similarly, tables are prepared for each team. But south africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, netherlands, and nepal are in Group D. It will be a tough competition between the teams to grab the top 2 spots. Because the netherlands has played in the World Cup. nepal has qualified for the Asian Games.

June 15 – indiacanada – Lauderhill (Florida)
All these matches start at 8.30 PM IST. In this, there is a reserve day for semi-finals and finals.

Group C:

New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea,

Group D:

South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, netherlands, Nepal
