A joint statement said that the maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) in collaboration with the maldives Tourism industry Association (MATIhas extended a special and open invitation to the indian National cricket Team. In this regard, MMPRC CEO and Managing director Ibrahim Shiuri and MATI General Secretary ahmed Nazir said that they are looking forward to hosting India's world champion team.

Ibrahim Shiuri and ahmed Nazir said in their joint statement, that we will feel very proud to host you and make the tour more memorable. He said that this invitation also reflects the strong and long-standing cultural and sports relations between maldives and India. Shiuri further said it would be a great honor for maldives to welcome the indian cricket team and join in the joy of their victory. He said we are eagerly waiting for the opportunity to host the indian cricket team so that they can get an ideal atmosphere to create memories of their victory celebration.


The world champion was given a grand welcome in the country
