IOC member Mrs Nita Ambani led the ceremony held at the indian house in paris on tuesday to honour the valiant efforts of the indian athletes at the quadrennial in France.

Chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ were heard from the crowd ahead of the national anthem played over the speakers as the house came to attention.Multiple indian athletes missed out on adding to the medal tally by agonising margins as Lakshya Sen, Maheshwari Chauhan, Anantjeet Singh, arjun Babuta, Dhiraj Bommadevar, Ankita Bhakat ended their respective events with fourth-place finishes.
