Defeated Cuban wrestler in semi-finals

In the semi-final match played on Tuesday, Vinesh defeated Cuba's Lopez Guzman 5-0. She became the first female wrestler to reach the final of the Olympics. She was leading 1-0 till the first round. Then in the last three minutes, she made a double leg attack on the Cuban wrestler and earned four points. She maintained this lead till the end and made it to the final. Vinesh's journey in this olympics has been great. Before the semi-finals, she defeated Ukraine's Livach Uksana 7-5 in the quarter-finals.

Should she get a medal for reaching the final?

Nenad further said, "Impossible (to give her a medal because she reached the final). Because the brackets are changing, everything is changing. And anyway, rules are rules. Whoever moves forward, knows that he has another way. The next day, an appeal was made. I don't see anything that can be done. The competition is going on, and I don't think it is possible."
