This was followed by a draw against france and a win against South Africa.

They would then make it to the quarterfinals, where they secured the biggest win so far in the form of Belgium, who they beat 3-2. spain will be confident coming into the contest and the indian team would need to be on their toes. The best thing is that india will welcome back amit Rohidas to the side after the defender served his one-match ban. He was sorely missed in the semi-final and the indian team will be aiming to finish the campaign with the bronze medal.
