A dangerous sport will come in the Olympics…?

Whenever the olympic games are held, some new sports often keep coming in them. For example, cricket will be introduced in the 2028 olympic games to be held in Los Angeles, USA, while a sport called break dancing made its debut in the paris Olympics. Now there is a discussion on including a very dangerous looking sport in the Olympics. Actually, Dana White, CEO of mixed martial arts company UFC, has proposed to bring MMA to the Olympics.

Let us tell you that recently the question was raised as to why MMA is not included in the Olympic Games. 3 fighting sports in the form of wrestling, boxing and judo are already included in the olympics and citing these three sports, the issue of including MMA has also been raised. Now UFC CEO Dana White has also come out in support of it.

Dana White said, "I think it should have been included in the olympics by now. It is not my job and neither am I pressuring anyone to include MMA in the Olympics. I just believe that whoever has talked about bringing MMA to the olympics, I support him. I also want to make it clear that viewership remains a problem for the ioc and we can bring more viewers to them."

Will MMA not be effective in the Olympics?

A combat sports analyst says that even if the sport of MMA is included in the olympics, it will not last for long. Actually, after a mixed martial arts fight, an athlete needs a lot of time to recover. Boxing, wrestling and judo matches can be held in an interval of about 2 weeks, but due to the short recovery time, MMA may not be able to survive in the Olympics.
