When will Neeraj Chopra cross the 90 meter mark?

For India's star athlete Neeraj Chopra, who won the silver medal in paris Olympics 2024, crossing the distance of 90 meters is still a big challenge. About two years ago, Neeraj threw 89.94 meters in the Stockholm Diamond League, which was the longest throw of his career. But the magical distance of 90 meters is still just 0.06 meters away from him. After not being able to cross this distance even after several attempts, Neeraj has now decided to leave this challenge to God.

Neeraj Chopra has been facing this challenge of 90 meters for a long time, but his only valid throw in paris Olympics 2024 was 89.45 meters, which put him in second place. It is a matter of pride for Neeraj to win a medal in the second consecutive Olympics, but Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem's brilliant throw of 92.97 meters deprived him of the gold medal.

Neeraj Chopra now leaves the target of 90 meters to God

Speaking to the media, Neeraj Chopra said, "Now I leave it to God. I have tried my best and now I want to see what is the result of my preparation. A lot has already been said about 90 meters, now I leave it to God. In paris, I felt that it could happen and it could have happened."

Neeraj Chopra is troubled by back injury

Neeraj Chopra also said that he will try to give his 100 percent in his next two-three events and see what the result is. After the Diamond League in Brussels on september 13-14, Neeraj will consult doctors for his back injury and if possible, will also get surgery done. Neeraj Chopra also stressed that his injury prevented him from improving his performance further. He said, "I felt I could have increased the distance, but my injury stopped me. Both my qualification and final throws were among my best throws this season. But to increase the distance, I have to be completely injury free."
