Indian cricketer shikhar dhawan has announced his retirement from international cricket.
Shikhar dhawan is one of the most successful batsmen and openers of the indian cricket team. He made his debut against australia in 2010. He has not played international cricket in the last few years due to many reasons including old age. shikhar dhawan has so far scored 6793 runs in 167 ODIs.

This includes 17 centuries and 39 half-centuries. His highest score was 143 runs. He has so far played 34 Tests and 68 T20s for India. shikhar dhawan last played a Test series in 2018, ODIs in 2022, and T20s last in 2021. In this situation, he has released a video that he is going to retire from international cricket today.  In the video, he said, "I am proud to have played for my country. I've played a lot for my country.

 Don't be upset that you can't play for your country anymore. I tell myself, 'Be happy that you got the chance to play for so long.'  Thank you to everyone who has shown me so much love so far!" He said. Also, he won't be part of IPL anymore.
