Pakistan lost the first Test against bangladesh by 10 wickets. This is the first time bangladesh has won a Test match against Pakistan. This is a historic win for Bangladesh.

Pakistan has won 12 Test matches between the two teams so far. The bangladesh cricket team is currently touring pakistan for a two-match Test series. The first Test match was played in Rawalpindi on 21 August. pakistan declared their first innings at 448 for the loss of 6 wickets.

Saud Shakil scored 141 runs and Mohammad Rizwan scored 171 runs. bangladesh started their first innings and gave a befitting reply to Pakistan.  Bangladesh scored 565 runs for the loss of all wickets in 167.3 overs.
Mushfiqur Rahim scored 191 runs and opener Satman islam scored 93 runs. pakistan started their second innings trailing by 127 runs. bangladesh bowlers took wickets in quick succession and put pressure on Pakistan.

Three of the team's batsmen were dismissed without scoring runs.  Pakistan scored 146 runs for the loss of all wickets in 55.5 overs. Chasing a target of 30 runs, bangladesh chased down the target of  30  runs in 6.3 overs.

Pakistan fans and cricket critics have criticized the team for declaring in the first innings. Pakistan's batting has also been criticized.
