IPL 2025: rohit sharma To LSG For 50 Crores? Truth Behind VIRAL Claim Revealed
Rohit Sharma To LSG For 50 Crores? Team Owner revealed the truth behind the viral claim ahead of IPL 2025.
Even though it is still not clear whether or not rohit sharma will come into the auction ahead of IPL 2025, there was a report that claimed that the lucknow Super Giants (LSG) were willing to save up to Rs 50 crore for the mumbai Indians (MI) legend. And now amid all this, the team owner Sanjiv Goenka has spoken up on the speculation with the 50-crore made by a journalist in a video.
Goenka dismissed the rumor as baseless and said that the teams do not even know whether Rohit will be an auction and even if he is available for bidding how will the teams manage if they spend half of the budget on a single player.
Tell me one thing. Does anybody know if rohit sharma is available at the action? The entire rumor is baseless. We have to see if MI releases Rohit Sharma. Then, we have to see if Rohit makes himself available for bidding. Even if he does, how will you manage to get the other 22 players if you spend half of your entire budget on one player?" Goenka told sports Tak.
You Are Not Going To Get Everything: Sanjiv Goenka On Available Resources
However, when the anchor asked if Rohit would be on his wishlist if he were to come to the auction, he again managed to dodge the question with his answer but somewhat agreeing to the fact that he would want to include Rohit but only if he is available at a reasonable price. He explained how he is tied by the resources available.
"Everyone has a wishlist to have the best captain and player with you. But, this is like ‘if wishes were horses’. It is not about what I want. It’s about what you can do with available resources. No matter what I wish for, every franchise will wish the same. You’re not going to get everything," he said.
