Afghanistan team is upset in noida, continuous rain!!!

This year, the grounds located in noida, kanpur and lucknow were appointed as home grounds for the afghanistan team. A test match is to be played between afghanistan and new zealand from 9 September, but even before that, Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik sports Complex of Greater noida has come into the limelight due to poor facilities. Heavy rain is expected in Greater noida from 2 to 8 September. Even the ground staff believes that if the situation worsens due to rain, then the match may have to be cancelled.

In fact, the stadium has been flooded due to overnight rain. To dry the ground, the ground staff was seen trying to prepare the pitch for the match without taking rest. But the pitch curator clearly says that if the rain does not stop, then the match can also be cancelled.

You can swim...

When afghanistan Test team captain Hashmatullah Shahidi stepped into the Greater noida stadium, his first comment was, "We can swim here." Although the Afghan team captain was seen saying this in a joking manner, but this definitely indicated that we may not see even a single day of play in the afghanistan vs new zealand match. Captain Shahidi also said that the afghanistan team is used to playing in difficult conditions, but how will the new zealand team get rid of this. He quoted amit Sharma, who has been playing the role of pitch curator in Greater noida since 2013, and said that the pitch has suffered a lot of damage due to rain, while bringing the ground in good condition due to storms seems to be a very difficult task.
