There is no hybrid model..!? The Champions Trophy in Pakistan..!?

The ICC has announced that the ICC Champions Trophy series will be held only in Pakistan. As a result, it is said that the chances of the indian team participating are low, but in the current environment, it has been explained that they are trying to hold all the matches in Pakistan. The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy series will be held in pakistan from february 19 to march 9. While the preliminary schedule for this has already been submitted to the ICC, it has been revealed that the matches played by the indian team will be held in Lahore. However, doubts arose among the fans about whether the indian team would travel to pakistan and play.
Because after 2008, the indian team has never played a cricket match in Pakistan. This raises the question of whether the central government will allow the indian team to travel. As a result, it has been reported that the bcci is trying to hold the Champions Trophy in a hybrid model like the Asia Cup. Meanwhile, with Jay Shah taking charge as the ICC president, it was said that he will try to conduct the Champions Trophy in a hybrid model. But since the schedule for the Champions Trophy series will be released in october itself, it is seen that there is no chance of holding it in the hybrid model at the last minute. Because to run in a hybrid model, managements of other teams have to agree. As the england and australia administrations are sure not to agree, the bcci is expected to take action. In this situation, the ICC Chief Executive Alertis said in the United Arab Emirates that there is no plan to hold the Champions Trophy series outside of Pakistan.

But in the current environment, we are planning to hold the Champions Trophy only in pakistan, he said. Thus, the decision on whether the indian team will participate in the Champions Trophy series is in the hands of the central government. Thus it is seen that bcci Secretary Jay Shah should negotiate with the central government. Still, some cricket critics are suggesting that indian players can be sent to pakistan only to play cricket and indian players can be accommodated in Amritsar. Some argue that this will create additional problems for the indian team players. And the ICC executive's speech has made the pakistan cricket Association management happy.
