Yuvraj Singh recently recounted an amusing and surprising anecdote from his time dating an actress during the 2007 India-Australia cricket tour, a series marked by the infamous 'Monkeygate' incident. Now married to hazel keech, Yuvraj revealed that the actress, who is still well-known today, followed him to Canberra while shooting a film in Adelaide.

At the time, Yuvraj was feeling the pressure of not performing well in the tour and requested the actress to give him space. “I was dating an actress, I won’t name her; she was shooting in Adelaide. I told her, ‘Let’s not meet for a bit because I need to focus,’ but she followed me to Canberra,” he shared during an appearance on the Club Prairie fire podcast.

The situation took a comedic turn when, while preparing to leave for Adelaide, the actress accidentally packed Yuvraj’s shoes in his suitcase. Moments before boarding the team bus, he discovered the missing footwear and had no choice but to wear her pink slip-ons instead.

“I had to wear those pink slip-ons, and I was carrying my bag in front of my shoes to hide them. The guys saw it, and they clapped for me,” Yuvraj recalled with a laugh, adding that he eventually bought flip-flops at the airport.

Yuvraj has been linked to several actresses over the years, including kim sharma and deepika Padukone, before marrying hazel keech in 2016. The couple now has two children.
