IND vs BAN: Langur monkeys have been put on duty!!!
The India-Bangladesh second test match being played in kanpur seems to be falling prey to rain. Only 35 overs could be played on the first day, in which bangladesh scored 107 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. On the other hand, not a single over could be played on the second day, due to which it is expected that the kanpur test may be cancelled. Meanwhile, a case of monkeys snatching people's food has come to light in Green Park Stadium. Uttar Pradesh cricket Association (UPCA) has now found a new solution to deal with this problem.
In Kanpur's Green Park Stadium, monkeys have been seen snatching snacks and drinks from fans as well as ground staff. Due to this, the broadcast of the matches has also been affected, so UPCA has taken the help of Langur monkeys to get rid of this problem. According to indian Express, Green Park Stadium director Sanjay Kapoor said that the monkeys have also been constantly harassing the broadcast team (cameraman).
The report also said that the high stand which the tv crew uses for broadcasting has been covered with black cloth from the back and sides. Let us tell you that even before this, langur monkeys have been used to keep monkeys away from the kanpur ground.
