Former indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat missed out on winning a medal in paris Olympics 2024. Vinesh was disqualified before the gold medal match due to being 100 grams overweight. Vinesh was in a lot of discussion after being disqualified. During this time, prime minister Narendra Modi's call went to Vinesh, but the indian wrestler refused to talk to PM Modi on call. So let's know why Vinesh refused to talk to PM Modi.

Vinesh revealed in an interview to 'Lallantop' that she did not talk to PM Modi on call due to the video being shared on social media. Actually, PM Modi talks to medal-winning athletes on the phone and the video of that conversation is shared on social media, but Vinesh was not in favor of sharing the video.

In the interview, when Vinesh was asked whether she received a call from PM Modi after missing out on the medal, she replied, "I did receive a call. I refused. I did not receive a direct call, but the indian officials there said they wanted to talk."

Vinesh further said, "They put conditions in front of me. None of your people will be with me. Our team will consist of two people, one will shoot the video and one will make us talk and that video will go on social media. I asked if it will go on social media? So where will it go, 'yes', so I said 'sorry'. I will not make fun of my emotions and my hard work on social media like this."

Vinesh then added, "If they really sympathize with a player, then they can talk without recording. Maybe they know that the day they talk to Vinesh, she will definitely ask for an account of two years. That's why they said that you will not have any phone call, we will record it. They can cut it at their level, but I will put the original, so they refused saying that this will not be possible."
