No team will bid for Ashwin..!? Why?

Cricket commentators point out that no team will try to buy Ashwin at the auction. Ravichandran Ashwin played for rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. A few days after the end of that IPL series, he was appointed as the head of the chennai Super Kings Bio-Efficiency Operations Centre. From the beginning of his cricket career till 2015, Ravichandran Ashwin played for chennai Super Kings. Also, the owner of chennai Super Kings was a sponsored player by india Cements. In 2016, he left CSK and india Cements. After about 9 years he is again joining hands with india Cements Group. The returning Ashwin has also been given the responsibility of heading chennai Super Kings' High Performance Centre.
As he is in charge of CSK, no team will buy him even if he bids for the 2025 IPL series. Critics point out that no team would try to sign him as such a purchase would cause confusion for a man who is in the position of coaching CSK players. That way, CSK can buy Ashwin for the maximum base price in the auction. The maximum base price for a player during the 2024 IPL auction was Rs 2 crore. In that sense, there is a high chance that Ashwin will be bought by CSK for the maximum base price of Rs 2 crore in the 2025 IPL series. Perhaps if bcci increases the maximum base price during this auction, CSK may buy Ashwin at that price.
