WTA Finals: Coco Gauff beats Pegula in WTA Finals, Swiatek wins after a tough fight

America's Coco Gauff made a great start to this last tennis tournament of the year by defeating compatriot Jessica Pegula 6-3, 6-2 in the WTA Finals. Second seed Iga Swiatek defeated Barbora Krejcikova 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 in her first match. This is her first win in the last two months.
