Prague Masters: Praggnanandhaa draws with aravind in the Prague Masters chess tournament, the status of the points table

Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa drew with India's aravind chidambaram in the fifth round of the Prague Masters chess tournament and both of them now have a full one-point lead. aravind and Praggnanandhaa have 3.5 points while top seed Wei Yi of China, Anish Giri of the Netherlands, Quang Lim Ly of Vietnam, and Vincent Kemer of germany are one point behind them.

The remaining four contestants are in sixth place, including David Navara and Nguyen Thai Dae Van of the Czech Republic, sam Shankland of the USA, and Gurel Ediz of Turkey. Indian Grandmaster Pa Iniyan defeated compatriot v Pranesh in the ninth and final round to win the ongoing Cannes international Open in France. Iniyan scored 7-5 points while Delhi's international Master Aaradhya Garg finished second. Current world junior champion Kazybek Noderbek of kazakhstan also had seven points but had to settle for third place after the tiebreak.


Iniyan won six matches and played three draws in the tournament. With this victory, he got 12 rating points and now he has come close to 2600 ELO points. He has 2579 ELO points. The tournament was attended by 147 players from 25 countries, including six grandmasters and 21 international masters.
