Rahane-Narine's explosion and then KKR fizzled out...

In the first match of IPL, kolkata Knight Riders, batting first, have given royal challengers Bangalore a target of 175 runs to win. Ajinkya Rahane and sunil Narayan gave KKR a good start with a brilliant partnership of 103 runs. But krunal pandya took 3 wickets and made a good comeback for RCB and stopped KKR at 174 runs. KKR has scored at least 30-40 runs less than the start.


Only 67 runs scored in the last over

Kolkata Knight Riders scored 107 runs in the first 10 overs but RCB bowlers made a good comeback in the last 10 overs. In the last 10 overs, KKR could score only 67 runs, the credit for this goes to RCB's spinners and especially Krunal Pandya. Krunal took 3 important wickets including captain Rahane. When Rahane was out, KKR's score was 109 runs in 10.3 overs. It was expected that the finishers would do well and the score would cross 200 but it did not happen.

Explosive batsmen like venkatesh Iyer (6), Rinku Singh (12) and Andre Russell (4) were completely flopped. Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 30 runs in 22 balls with the help of 1 six and 2 fours.


Century partnership between Ajinkya Rahane and sunil Narayan

After Quinton de Kock's first wicket fell at 4 runs, Ajinkya Rahane along with Sunil Narayan made a brilliant century partnership. Rahane scored the first half-century of IPL 2025, for which he played only 25 balls. Rahane scored 56 runs in 31 balls, in which he hit 6 fours and 4 sixes. He was dismissed by Krunal Pandya. sunil Narayan scored 44 runs in 26 balls. In this innings, he hit 3 sixes and 5 fours. He was dismissed by Rasik Salam.
