India is the co-organiser of the second UN Games being organised with the aim of promoting diplomacy and cooperation through sports, in which it will lead in sports like yoga and chess. India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish said in a post on X on Wednesday, 'It is an honour for me to be a part of the opening ceremony of the second UN Games. As a co-organizer, india will play a leading role in chess and yoga.'
Harish said that the UN Games are a celebration of the spirit of unity and international cooperation.
