Watch: virat kohli made fun of himselfand ridiculed a 14-year-old interview; you will be rolling on the floor laughing after watching the video.

IPL 2025: virat kohli has played for RCB throughout his IPL career, in 2011 he won the first Player of the Match award. Now Virat has made a big statement on chris Gayle while making fun of himself.

Virat kohli is one of those select players who have played for the same team in their entire IPL career. This is the year 2011 when Virat's career started taking off, and in the same year, he also won his first Man of the Match award in IPL. While chasing the target of 161 runs given by delhi Daredevils (now delhi Capitals), Virat played a match-winning innings of 56 runs in 38 balls. In the same match, chris Gayle gave a good start to RCB by scoring 26 runs in 14 balls.

Virat kohli reviewed his Player of the Match presentation in 2011. In the post-match presentation, Virat said, "To be honest, I had not planned to bat like this. But when I started hitting the ball, I took charge of Gayle. This was the plan, so that Gayle could bat freely and I could also play my shots because I was able to hit the ball well."

Now, while reviewing the video of his post-match presentation on a show on JioHotstar, Virat said, "I don't even remember what I said. Chris should be able to play shots freely. Look at the misunderstanding." Virat further said that ever since the era of social media has come, fans have started analyzing the words of players in strange ways.

That interview of 2011 is 14 years old now, after that Virat has emerged as one of the greatest cricketers especially in white ball cricket. During IPL 2025, he has completed 13,000 runs in his t20 career. He is the first indian and the fifth player in the world to do so. Virat has so far scored 13,050 runs in his 403-match t20 career.
