Pakistan bans mumbai Indians player, know the whole matter!
The pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned South African cricketer Corbin Bosk from the pakistan Super League (PSL) for one year. This decision has been taken at a time when Corbin had decided to play in IPL 2025 by flouting the PSL contract. Let us tell you that PSL 2025 (PSL 2025 Start Date) is starting today i.e. 11 April, whose first match will be played between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
Pakistan imposed ban
In the draft of PSL 2025, South African fast bowler Corbin Bosk was associated with the Peshawar Zalmi team. When the time came for IPL 2025 to start, mumbai Indians bowler Lizard Williams was out of the tournament due to injury. In such a situation, the MI franchise offered a replacement to Corbin Bosk, which he also accepted. There was controversy over this decision because Corbin joined the MI team despite having a PSL contract in hand.
According to the statement issued by PCB, Corbin Bosque said, "I apologize to the loyal fans of Peshawar Zalmi. I take full responsibility for whatever I did and I also accept the punishment, which includes a penalty and a one-year ban from PSL."
How much salary is Corbin Bosque taking from IPL
Corbin Bosque was offered almost the same salary from both the leagues. He is getting a salary of Rs 75 lakh for playing for mumbai Indians in IPL 2025. On the other hand, he was also going to get an amount of Rs 50-75 lakh for playing in PSL. It is a different matter that till now he has not got the opportunity to play a single match in IPL 2025.
