A unique medical test is being developed in britain to fight the disease

Scientists are developing a test with the help of which 4 types of cancer can be tested simultaneously.
4 february is celebrated as World cancer Day. In such a situation, it is important to know what discoveries are being made by scientists around the world to fight this disease, but before that, we know what is cancer.

What is cancer?

The human body is made up of many innumerable cells.  This is a normal process and the body has complete control over it, but sometimes the body's control over the cells of a particular organ deteriorates and the cells start growing in an unaccounted way and this is called cancer.

If it is not treated at the right time, then these cells keep on growing continuously and keep dividing in the body in an imbalanced manner.

According to a report published in the journal Nature, british scientists have given preliminary results of one of their unique discoveries. Scientists are developing a test with the help of which 4 types of cancer can be tested simultaneously. It is especially being prepared for women.

It was told in the report that through this test, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer can be detected.
ovarian cancer
In ovarian cancer, small cysts are formed in the ovary. After this, women face problems in conceiving. Along with this, the uterus and tubes start getting damaged. Ovarian cancer is detected in the last stage in 75% of cases but by then the tumor has spread.

At the same time, scientists have named this test the Woman cancer Risk Identification Test (WID Test).

What does the research say?

The research involved about 2,000 women in 15 centers in Europe. These women were divided into three categories.
Women in the first category had breast and ovarian cancer, in the second category such women were included who were at risk of getting this cancer. At the same time, there were completely healthy women in the third category.

After this, the cervical cells of all these women were examined with the help of a WID test.

The test analyzed the women's DNA. It is being said that the WID test can prove to be an effective weapon for women in fighting cancer as compared to the existing cancer test.
