ISRO in competition with SpaceX..!?

The indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) wants to design and build a reusable rocket, isro chief S Somanath said during the Bengaluru Space Expo 2022. SpaceX, a private company that is revolutionizing the space research and space travel industry, will be the first to use a single-use rocket for a second time. Elon Musk, who created a revolution with this, is currently working on a project to travel to Mars on a budget.
In this case, isro has decided to develop a reusable rocket similar to SpaceX, thereby creating a great revolution in india as well. The main objective of reusable rockets in space research and space travel is to reduce costs to a large extent. With this, isro is expected to reduce the cost of launching satellites and expand its business by targeting the global market.Speaking at the Space Expo, isro Chairman S Somanath said that they want to launch satellites at a much cheaper cost than what they do today. At present, isro spends between $10,000 and $15,000 to launch one kilogram of payload or multiple satellites. isro Chairman S Somanath has said that they can try to reduce this to 5000 or 1000 dollars in the future through reusable rockets.India currently does not have reusable rocket technology, all the rockets currently being launched burn up completely on launch, he said that technology should be developed to bring this back. The rocket that isro will produce next to GSLV Mk-III will be a reusable rocket. It is noteworthy that isro has recently successfully tested a technology called Inflatable Aerodynamic Decelerator (IAD) for this purpose.
