Swiss Railways Record..! World's Longest rail Run..!?

The world's longest passenger train runs through the swiss Alps. To celebrate the 175th anniversary of swiss Railways, swiss Railways has set a new record by running the longest passenger train of 1.9 km with 100 coaches connected through the Alps. The Bernina rail line runs along the Alps from Brida to Pergüen in Switzerland. The Albula/Bernina rail line was recognized as one of UNESCO's World heritage Sites in 2008. The route has 22 tunnels and 48 bridges to enjoy the natural beauty between the snow-capped mountains. It takes 1 hour to cover a distance of 25 km from Brida to the Berkuen area by train.Regarding this, Railway director Renato Pezziati said that the longest passenger train has been commissioned to highlight some of Switzerland's engineering achievements and to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the swiss Railways.
 Accordingly, a long train with 4 engines and 100 coaches was operated for a distance of 1.9 km yesterday. With this, swiss Railways has set a record for running the longest passenger train in the world. This record is said to be a proud moment in the Railways department of switzerland by celebrating the 175th anniversary of its railways.
