According to a Bloomberg report, in recent times the number of such apps and websites has increased which use AI to remove clothes from photos and videos.


A social network analysis company named Graphika has shared this information that 24 million people i.e. 2.4 crore people visited the website in september which provides the service of removing clothes with the help of AI. Most of these popular social media platforms are being used for marketing the service named Nudify.


Dirty work is being promoted on social media

According to the report, there has been an increase in the number of such links on facebook and Reddit that allow users to remove clothes from photos and videos. Especially since most services work only on photos of women. It has been said in the report that photographs of women are secretly taken from social media and then undressed and shared. The number of such links has increased by 2400 percent.


Schoolchildren are also using it

Deepfake pornography videos of anyone can be created through such apps and websites. Privacy experts are warning about the increasing accessibility of deepfake pornography due to advances in AI technology. Eva Galperin, director of cyber security at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, said that such apps and websites are being used every day by school children and common people, which is a matter of concern.
