Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQOO made a significant impact in the indian market with the launch of the iQOO 12 smartphone in december last year, competing fiercely with OnePlus' latest offering, the OnePlus 12. Both phones boast the same chipset, intensifying the competition. Recent leaks suggest that iQOO is gearing up to introduce two new smartphones, namely the iQOO 12s and iQOO Z9, providing consumers with additional choices.

According to the information from Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu, iQOO may equip the iQOO 12s with the same high-end processor found in their flagship smartphones, possibly incorporating Qualcomm's latest chip. While it is expected to share similarities in processing power, distinctions may be made in camera specifications and other features to position it differently in the line-up.

On the other hand, the iQOO Z9 is anticipated to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, currently utilized in the redmi K70e smartphone, indicating a potential competition with redmi devices. The focus of the iQOO Z9 could be on delivering extended battery life, although specific details are yet to be disclosed. Additional reports suggest that iQOO is actively working on another smartphone, tentatively named the iQOO Neo 9 SE, likely to incorporate a Qualcomm chip, possibly the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 or 8 Gen processor.

Leaked specifications for the iQOO Neo 9 SE include a robust 5000 mAh battery, a 120-watt charger, 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. While the launch of these smartphones in india remains unconfirmed, iQOO's expansion of its product line-up indicates a strategic approach to cater to diverse consumer preferences.
