Zoom's update, 1 million people can join on single call!!!

Video conferencing platform Zoom has made a major upgrade to its webinar capabilities, allowing 1 million viewers to connect simultaneously on a single call. This update has been taken when its capacity was recently increased in high profile political fundraising events.

New update received

Let us tell you that in this new update, customers can connect from 10,000 to 1 million participants simultaneously. Zoom's Chief Product Officer, Smita Hashim, said that this update is "revolutionizing the way organizations connect and engage with large audiences seamlessly." The move comes after recent fundraising events for Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.

Recently, a call hosted by Win With Black women was included, which connected more than 40,000 people simultaneously and raised nearly $1.5 million in just three hours.

Zoom has envisioned applications beyond politics for this expanded capability. This feature includes use in enterprise communications, public sector outreach, and entertainment industry fan engagement. Along with this, the platform will ensure that large-scale virtual events work properly from its event services team.
