To keep your account safe, google shows some 'Recommended Actions' from time to time. These actions tell you how strong the security of your account is and whether you need to take some important steps.
A warning mark (!) appears along with the 'Recommended Actions'. This means that you need to take some action.
Blue Sign (Blue Exclamation Mark): This is for security tips, which advises you about minor security measures. Like making the password stronger.
Yellow Sign (Yellow Exclamation Mark): This is for important steps, which tells that some important settings need to be improved.
Red Sign (Red Exclamation Mark): This is the most important and should not be ignored. This means that your account has some serious security risks that need to be fixed immediately. If you see a green shield with a check mark (✓) next to it, it means that your account is safe and you do not need to take any action at the moment.
How to check notifications?
Follow these steps to check the security of your google account:
First of all log in to your google account.
Click on your profile picture on the top right
Click on 'Recommended Action'
This will take you to the 'Security Checkup' page, where you will get some suggestions to increase the security of your account.
