

Delhi HC refuses early hearing on DeepSeek ban case!
The delhi High court has refused to hear the PIL seeking to block DeepSeek in India. A bench headed by the Chief Justice of delhi High court said in this case that if someone is threatened by the Chinese AI platform, then users also have the option of not using it. The delhi High court also said that if it is so dangerous, then you are not being forced to use it, at present there is no basis for immediate hearing in this case.
A petition was filed in the delhi High court demanding that DeepSeek be blocked in India. The petition claims that within a month of its launch, several vulnerabilities were found in DeepSeek, which led to the leaking of more than 1 million sensitive personal data online.
The delhi High court had asked the lawyer appearing on behalf of the central government to file his reply in this case, however, the central government did not file a reply in this case due to lack of time, the delhi High court will hear the matter on april 16. During the hearing of the case, the court said that artificial intelligence can be a dangerous tool in the hands of anyone, whether it is American or Chinese.

The petition filed in the delhi High court also alleges that DeepSeek developed by Chinese entities is involved in illegal operations. In the petition filed in the delhi High court, lawyer Bhavana Sharma said that many countries raised concerns about the privacy and security of DeepSeek and in view of this, Italy's data protection authority Garante has banned DeepSeek for violating the privacy laws of the GoPin leader law.

In view of the security risks of DeepSeek, the Australian government has also banned its use on all government equipment. In the same case, data regulators in Ireland, Belgium, Greece, South Korea, Taiwan, the US and france are investigating the operations of Deepseek.
