UPI testing completed in Qatar

Vipul said in an interview to Moneycontrol, "UPI transactions will start soon in Qatar. Integration with qatar National bank (QNB) has been completed, testing has been done and it has also been launched. This is an important step towards increasing digital payments between the two countries.'' Financial transactions will become easier for a large number of indians living in qatar through UPI and fintech cooperation will also deepen. Apart from financial technology, india and qatar are also strengthening their partnership in startups and innovation.

Better ecosystem in qatar for indian startups

Vipul said, "India has a reservoir of talent, focus on technology, with 150,000 startups, the scope is also very big. qatar has both financing and ecosystem for startups. indian startups can perfect their business model with the benefits available in Qatar." The two countries are strengthening economic ties between them, which deepened after the recent visit of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to India. During the Emir's two-day visit to india in February, qatar had promised an investment of $ 10 billion in various sectors.
