Stranded Astronaut Says Biden Blocked Musk's Rescue Probe: 'Clearly Actual'

Barry Wilmore, one of the nasa astronauts caught at the international Space Station, recounted on tuesday Elon Musk's declaration that the Biden administration rejected the SpaceX CEO's proposal to assist in bringing them home.

The astronauts had been in the area for 9 months.

Wilmore, at some stage in an in-orbit press conference with fellow astronaut Sunita Williams, addressed questions about political involvement in their space project. Replying to a query about Musk's claims that the previous Joe Biden management refused his offer to help return the two astronauts domestically, he said, "I can best say that Elon Musk, what he says, is in reality genuine. I consider him.".

Earlier, Wilmore had denied that politics played a component in his and Williams's return.

After the press convention, SpaceX chief Elon Musk reiterated his claim and accused the preceding Joe Biden administration of refusing to allow the release of some other Dragon pill to deliver returned nasa astronauts

.

"The astronauts had been purported to be up there for 8 days and now have been there for eight months. SpaceX may have wanted to have sent up some other Dragon and taken them home 6 months ago; however, the Biden white house (now not NASA) refused to allow it," stated Musk, replying to a tweet.

Elon Musk said that US President donald trump requested he carry them lower back "as quickly as viable," and he is doing so.

Now, the astronauts are only a few weeks away from ultimately returning to Earth after 9 months in space. The return moved up a couple of weeks thanks to an alternate in SpaceX capsules.

Wilmore and Williams have been predicted to be gone just a week or so once they launched remaining june aboard Boeing's new Starliner pill, making its crew debut after years of delay. The Starliner had so many troubles attending to the gap station that nasa deemed it too dangerous to hold all people, and it flew back empty.

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams must wait till their replacements arrive on the international Space Station next week before they are able to test out later this month.

President donald trump and SpaceX's Elon Musk said on the cease of january that they desired to boost up the astronauts' return, blaming the previous management.
