The M4 chip has a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, which makes it twice as fast as the M1. apple has claimed that the M4 models give 23 times faster performance than the Intel-based MacBook Air. Its base model has 16GB of RAM, which can be configured up to 32GB. Talking about storage options, it starts from 256GB and goes up to 2TB.
12MP center stage camera
The new MacBook air models have a 12MP center stage camera. It automatically adjusts the camera to keep the user in the frame during video calls. The new models have got a new color this time and now it will be available in Sky Blue color in addition to Midnight, Starlight and Silver. apple is also providing color-matching MagSafe charging with all these models. They come with apple Intelligence support.
Price and availability
apple has kept the starting price of the 13-inch M4 MacBook air in india at Rs 99,900 and the 15-inch model at Rs 1,24,900. The price of this 13 inch M4 is about 15 thousand rupees less than the M3 model launched last year. The new model can be pre-ordered now and it will be available for sale from march 12.
