What is the 6G spectrum, when will it come?

In the last 30 years, cellular communications have brought about a big change in human life. Every generation of technology has given new benefits and now with the arrival of 6G, the world is going to change even more. 2G and 3G gave the freedom to talk on the go and stay connected with each other. With this, we could stay in touch with our friends and family anywhere, anytime.

4G gave the opportunity to easily access information and social media. We could search anything on the Internet, watch videos and connect with friends on social media. 5g gave the power to use data from machines and sensors. This made technologies like smart cities, autonomous vehicles and Internet of Things (IoT) possible.

Now with the arrival of 6G, we will see the real world and the wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital world becoming one. This will completely change the way we live and work. We will be able to experience virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) even better. The use of AI will become even easier.

When will 6G arrive?

Generally, new mobile technology is ready within about 10 years. It is estimated that 6G will appear in its initial form by the end of this decade and will be fully ready by the beginning of the next decade. The international Telecommunication Union (ITU-R) will decide the frequency bands and rules for 6G through the 'World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC)'. Along with ITU-R, '3GPP' (3rd Generation Partnership Project) will also have to decide the standards.

The first specifications of 6G are expected to come in '3GPP Release 21' in the second half of 2028. Decisions on spectrum bands for 6G will be taken in 'WRC-23', which will prepare the rules for use by 2030.
