Apple To Start Airpods Manufacturing In hyderabad For Exports From April
Apple is making plans to begin manufacturing AirPods for exports at the Foxconn plant in hyderabad from april, sources said.
AirPods will be the second product category that apple will begin generating in india after iPhones.
"Manufacturing of AirPods is going to begin in india at Foxconn's hyderabad facility. It's going to start from april, but it will be handiest for exports as of now," an enterprise supply advised PTI.
Foxconn had accepted USD 400 million, about Rs 3,500 crore, to install the manufacturing unit in august 2023.
