Who is the CEO of the Waqf Board?
The CEO of the Waqf Board is a senior administrative officer who takes charge of the functioning and management of the State Waqf Board. According to the Waqf Act, 1995, the state government appoints the CEO of the Waqf Board. IAS, RAS, PCS or senior administrative officers are usually appointed to this post.
Responsibilities of CEO
The main responsibility of the CEO of the Waqf Board is to ensure the proper use and protection of Waqf properties in the state. They monitor legal matters and take necessary action on any irregularities. Apart from this, they review the appointment of the board's employees and their work.

Management of Waqf's income, expenditure and properties.
